Don't track your own page views. Blogger has a custom gadget called 'Blog's Stats'. It will count all the hits your blog has made, but make sure not to add your own hits. You want to know how many 'real' hits your blog has made. So go ahead and click on your Stats tab. On the right side click on 'Don't track your own pageviews.' A pop-up will appear, by default the first option is selected, click on the second one, 'Don't track my pageview's' and save.
No ♪♫♪ on your blog. I find it annoying to come across blogs with music, I'm sure many out there too. Probably you're listening to your own music taste, when click, you enter a blog with music -.- annoying! You have to go searching where the pause/stop button is so that you can continue listening to your own music. Then you're probably interested in reading one of their other posts so the page will refresh, and again, music -.- Search for the pause/stop button again. How annoying!!! Makes me not want to visit your blog again.
Add Link Within. This is a great gadget to add to your blog. It adds similar stories under each post so it keeps visitors reading related entries and keeps them interested in your blog. You only have to add it once and it will appear automatically below each blog post. You can get it at: www.LinkWithin.com
Visit your followers. Don't forget about your readers. Always pay them a visit. I always like to visit my readers who leave a comment, and my new followers. You never know and you might end up following a new blog :)
Take advantage of schedule at. Sometimes you have too many ideas of what to write about. Sometimes I end up writing a few posts in one day, and maybe it's too much to post in only one day. So I end up scheduling my posts. Right under of the text box where you write, there's an option 'Post Options'. On the right side there's an option for 'Post date and time' under that, 'Scheduled at'. You can type in whichever day and time suits you. This will automatically publish your post at the time and day you choose. Make sure to click on Publish Post after you have finished writing. When you go back to your Posting tab you should see the title of your post with the status as scheduled.
I have more blogging tips, for the second part go here!! I hope this was helpful, thanks for reading =D
