Kardashian Konfidential

I recently finished reading Kardashian Konfidential, it was in my books-to-read list. I was so looking forward to reading this book, and let me tell you, it was enjoyable to read. This book came out November 2010. This book is $26. But I got it from my local library so that I didn't have to spend money on a book I know I'm going to read only once. At least I don't know of any book I've read twice, so really for me there's no point in buying a book. Eexcluding college books of course.

I didn't get to read a whole lot new about them. I started watching their show when it was 'Kourtney and Khloe take Miami', I had watched a few episodes from their previous season, 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'. Then I missed the next season. Then I started watching again now that it's 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York'. I follow them regularly, not on an everybday basis, I don't read their tweets all the time, but I know probably most of their whole story. About their dad, and how they got popularity. What I got to read new from their book was the OJ Simpson episode, describing what they had to go through. Also the way their dad taught them to be as they were growing up, to be responsible, and treat everyone with respect, as you would like to be treated. I was also expecting more beauty tips, which didn't have many to me, just a few. It had a few fashion tips, the musts you should have in your closet, and also a few cooking recipes.

I enjoyed looking at all the colorful photos. I love Kim's fashion sense. I like how Kourtney is so lay back. And I like Khloe's attitude. Just for an addy, I watched this makeup guru a while ago doing the makeup from the book cover. I think she did a great job achieving their look....

Sounds from where??

Sounds have always followed me. Not common sounds, but strange sounds. Where do they come from? Or who makes them? Is someone trying to talk to me? Or get my attention? What is it? Am I the only one this happens to? Why me??

These are some of the questions I have. Ever since I was little I remember hearing sounds. Strange sounds. Or weird voices I must say. I remember when I was about seven I would stay in my fathers care. I had to stay at his job for about 7 to 8 hours. In many occasions I heard a lady-like calling my name, Rosy, behind my back. I would turn and nobody was there. Never scared me, the voice sounded friendly. It sort of sounded like my mom's voice. But I was more than sure it wasn't her. She would go to work at locations that were like 45 min. away. I heard this voice when my mom had long left to work. Sometimes I though if I was imagining things, but no. This one time I heard her clearly once again. My mom would pick me up in her car, she would yell my name so that I would go to her car. This afternoon I heard a voice exactly like my moms' yelling my name, Rosy, like if she was in her car. As I was preparing to leave, I didn't see my moms car. Then my uncle tells me, I heard your mom calling you. This time I was sure I wasn't the only one hearing this voice. Like two or three hours later I saw my mom arrive. I asked her if she had passed by earlier, she said no, she had just gotten out of work.

So who was this person?? How come I always heard her but never saw her? Ever since I haven't heard my name being called again. I heard her only when I was a little girl when I was at my dads working place. According to someone I know, my guardian angel is a lady, she's Brazilian and her name is Tanya. Could this had been her? I don't know.

The most strangest thing happened to me was when I was dating my ex. I would spend countless hours during my summer vacation using my computer to communicate with him. Then it started. I would walk the hallway and heard something being touched or moved. I kept walking and something else was touched. Sometimes plastic bags, sometimes boxes, doors. This kept on going for about three days. It was always during day time when I was home alone. The third day I remember sitting in front of my computer. I had headphones on and was speaking to my ex. When bang, the closet door was banged! I asked him, "did yo hear that?" He said yes. Then behind me was a tv, and bang! Again, he heard it too. The noises continued I didn't ask him anymore if he heard them or not, I knew I was not going crazy. As if someone was trying to get my attention, or a sign I shouldn't keep talking to him? As I look back now, I got sings all along I shouldn't be with this guy. I used to keep a dream journal in which I would write about the dreams I would remember. Not long ago I found my dream journal I had when I was still dating this guy. In it where two dreams that were very similar, giving me signs of what was going to happen. Now I realize what they meant, and why I had them. But yet again, every often I'll have dreams where I can see the future.

The noises are not always. I'll have consecutive days when I'll hear things, most of the time are during the day. I don't think nobody is trying to scare me, if not I would hear things during night time because I'm afraid of the dark. Until recently I hadn't seen anything but last year, 2010, my daughter was taking a nap, I was using my laptop, I turned because I heard my daughter's toy moving from side to side. Could the wind move this toy? I don't think so. It's kind of heavy to say the wind moved it. The door was closed and windows were closed. I wasn't even near it. The toy was beside the tv. How did it start moving side to side on it's own?? Photo below of the toy...

Miss Lyn when she was much younger, she was 7 months here.

Things like this have happened when I've gone to Guatemala and stayed at my granny's house for vacation. At my old apartment and now at my new apartment. They always happen when I'm alone most of the time, during the day. This is not something that scares me. It intrigues me. I would like to know what's behind it. I will always wonder if it's my guardian angel? Or maybe an alien? I truly believe we're not the only beings in this universe. If aliens do visit us I'm pretty sure they have super powers we are not capable of having yet. Like becoming invisible, or having the shape of other human beings.

I just wanted to get it out there and see if anyone else has had, or is having similar experiences?

Sally Hansen - Blazing Blue

Another Instra-Dri beautiful color. It's called Blazing Blue in #23.  It's a beautiful, dark shimmery, royal blue. From far it will look like a simple black, but take a closer look, it's a dark blue, with tiny spectacles of glitter.

Of course what we like of the Insta-Dri polishes is how fast the color dries, it's suppose to take a minute to dry up but just to be sure I like to wait around 10 minutes. I applied two coats of this color although with one will look just fine.

See how lovely this blue is?? I like it. It has tiny shimmer to spark you up.

Vegetarian Again

I'm officially vegetarian once again, and I think vegan soon because cheese and milk are no longer appetizing.

A few days ago I started eating no meat at all. My mom is the one who usually cooks meat, chicken, fish, etc. and I'm the one who cooks everything else. For no reason, meat was getting yucky for me! I don't even know why. I haven't watched any cruel videos about how animals get killed to be eaten, or I don't think consciously that I'm eating animal because I know I wouldn't eat my food.

Smashed potato, smashed beans, cheesy pasta, baked potato, and veggie patty.

A little background info, I was vegetarian for one year. I wanted to try myself how it was like to be vegetarian, and I did. I have to be honest, back then it was hard the first week, because I had always been carnivorous!! I would get kind of cranky if I didn't see on my plate some animal, I always wanted to eat animal! So going vegetarian for a month was like, what am I'm getting into? During the first week, I also started informing myself. I went to peta2.com regularly to read about the reality that's going on, about the cruel animal tests, and they even have videos on all of this!! It was disturbing to watch, but this helped to continue my vegetarian way. After a month passed, I didn't want to go back! It was so easy to eat yummy foods without having meat, and meat became yucky for me!

Then I became pregnant and I wanted to start eating meat once again, I found it tasty once again. If I didn't eat meat for a day it wouldn't bother me. I was able to eat anything.

Healthy salad. To add some flavor I added Garlic flavored croutons and blue cheese dressing.

Now once again, it started maybe like two weeks ago, I would sometimes eat animal, sometimes I wouldn't. Yesterday my mom made spaghetti with meat, but luckily she doesn't mix them together, because my sister is vegetarian as well (she's been vegetarian for like, 7 years?) and she always saves food for her. It had sauce, so I just added Parmesan cheese, and it was sooo good. I didn't miss adding the meat. I feel so good not being part of the meat eaters, and be able to look into an animal's eye without feeling hypocrite. Sometime soon I want to try going Vegan for a month to see how it goes.

And today, on the Oprah show they showed a video, being inside a slaughterhouse. Watch here if you like. CAUTION: It's very graphic, I had tears in my eyes when I saw this!! According to Cargill, the cows basically don't feel anything and they die at "peace". This is the US way to kill animals, imagine how it's done in other countries?!! This convinced me even more to be vegetarian all the way!! I think it's ridiculous to not be able to watch this and still be able to eat meat. At least see where it all comes from and how it's done. I also think it's hypocrite to say, "I'm an animal lover", then I ask, "Oh, so you must be vegetarian or vegan?" They answer no.
