My First Vegan Thanksgiving

The rest of my family didn't have turkey, but instead ate chicken. They also made rice, a spicy tomato sauce (which I loved!!!!!), tortillas, and fruit salad. I enjoyed everything very much although I had a terrible cold :(( Doesn't it happen to you that when you get sick you lose appetite? Though everything was so yummy, I didn't get to eat a lot. I really feel great making the switch to a much healthier diet knowing I'm not causing harm to other innocent beings.

Thank you God, Virgin Mary, Universe, Guardian Angel for everything! Of course we always have to be thankful for everything we have every day. I really appreciate everything I have at this moment.

Helping a Pigeon

 I was leaving my apartment with my little Lyn when we kame upon this lovely pigeon. He was just standing in the hallway, which is unusual of them because first thing they do is fly away. I was able to get near, and this kute little dovey still didn't move. I quickly noticed his feet were all black, as if he was wearing black, thick boots. Apparently his wings didn't allow him to fly well, and because of this he landed in the wrong place. On top of tar :((

I got a blanket and brought him home. With dish washing soap we were able to take most of it out, but as you can see on the image below he was still left with a bit. This is nothing compared to the way we found him! Poor little thing :((

I got to keep him all night :) I hugged him and gave him kisses, oh so loveable!!

Outfit of the Night

Isn't it fun when you have a girls night out?!! I love going out every once in a while to get rid of regular routine. Especially when you get to see people you haven't seen in a long time.  My outfit of the night was this....

 We had dinner at P.F. Chang's. I ordered fried rice with veggies, and spinach with garlic sauce. Honestly I didn't like the food. I've had better Chinese food at other places that are yummier and cheaper. As for the spinach I honestly I could do it better myself. But overall we had a good time.

I got curls the natural way without using any heat iron. Simply grabbing pieces of hair, rolling it, pin it to your head, and wait about an hour to let the rolls down. While I waited I took a shower, got dressed, did my makeup, and voila! Instant natural curls!! Just apply some hair spray so that they stay in place. All done :))

Support Historic Bill to Ban Use of Animals in Circus

Letter to my congress woman, my original message was this:

"Ten members of the U.S. Congress have agreed to sponsor a historic bill to restrict the use of exotic and non-domesticated animals in traveling circuses. The Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act, H.R. 3359, will end the use of wild animals in traveling circuses in the United States.

This is why I'm contacting you to ask you to support this bill. This is a great opportunity to place an end to animal cruelty in circuses, fairs and other traveling entertainment that use exotic animals.

I hope our voice is heard, thank you very much."

Just wanted to share this great news!! I was so excited to read she was concern as much as I was. There is definitely good hope for all these defenseless animals.
