I feel like my morning is complete when I have a smoothie for breakfast. I usually like to accompany it with oatmeal and my beauty vitamins. At the moment I’m currently taking Deva vegan vitamins for hair, nails, and skin and Deva vegan vitamins astaxanthin for my vision.

Smoothie recipes can be so easy to make, and at the same time healthy. I was asked to share more recipe videos, so here I share how to make 3 smoothie recipes depending on the base you will be using. Each smoothie recipe only requires 3 natural ingredients.

So just pick a base between water, juice, or milk for the smoothie, and read on to see why each ingredient is so beneficial

3 SMOOTHIE RECIPES
3 ingredients each (vegan + healthy)

1. Water Base Smoothie

If you’re out of juice, or milk, think about using water as a base. If I use water I think about how I can make it sweet since water has no taste. In this case, a ripe frozen banana and an apple are a great combination. Along with that, I add spinach.

  • Banana – Contains an amino acid that boosts healthy hair and nail growth.
  • Apple – A great option for detox and keeping the body cool in the summer. Apples contain antioxidants to protect from UVB damage. Also great for the skin to keep breakouts away.
  • Spinach – Has vitamin A to help make your complexion glowy. Spinach also nourishes the eyes and liver.

2. Juice Base Smoothie

The orange juice will naturally make the smoothie sweet, so because kale is a bit bitter, both go perfectly. For more sweetness add a ripe banana and as a superfood use chia seeds.

  • Banana – Bananas contain important nutrients like potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, magnesium, copper, and manganese.
  • Kale – Has vitamin A that makes skin smoother and vitamin C. Also, vitamin K maintains moisturizing oils in your sebaceous glands. Calcium from kale is more easily absorbed than calcium from milk.
  • Chia seeds – They are a complete protein for healthy skin, hair, and nails. Organic chia seeds also protect the skin from sun damage and are also great for blemish-free skin.

3. Plant-Based Milk Smoothie

I love drinking nut milk and it goes really well with oatmeal, a perfect breakfast addition. I use almond milk but for a creamier combination add a ripe banana and blueberries for more beauty benefits.

  • Banana – Bananas taste so good, but not only that, but it also helps to moderate blood sugar levels and keeps the heart healthy.
  • Blueberries – They keep you looking young. Protects against UV damage, and defends against wrinkles. The potassium boosts the circulation of nutrients and oxygen hence the boost of skin elasticity.
  • Oatmeal – High in manganese to help maintain healthy hair. Also rich in iron for strong hair and nails, and also great for skin elasticity. For the most benefits get gluten-free oats.

Which smoothie will you be trying?

If you notice I don’t add sugar to my smoothies to keep them healthy. I ensure to use fruits that are naturally sweet to give them a pleasant taste without using processed ingredients.

Rosy, where do you get your straws from?

I often get asked where I get my straws from. At the moment I have two different types of straws, glass straws, and metal straws for an eco-friendly impact. Another great option is bamboo straws.
