3 Natural Masks for Healthy and Shiny Hair

Take sections of your hair and apply the natural hair mask on your scalp. Once, you have the mask on your hair, leave it for about 30 minutes in a plastic shower cap or wrap your hair with a towel as it helps retain the moisture. Any of these masks will surely make your hair look nice, healthy, and shiny!

Aloe Hair Mask

Research has demonstrated that aloe might help with dandruff alleviation. Aloe vera for your hair is also beneficial to strengthen and condition, promote hair growth, lock is moisture, reduce frizziness and detangle hair. Aloe vera definitely has a lot of benefits for strong and healthy hair.

For this hair mask you will need:

You need a small slice of aloe. I prefer using natural aloe but if you don’t have it available you can use aloe vera gel. Mix the aloe with about a teaspoon of organic olive oil. If you don’t have olive oil you can also use coconut oil. Mash the aloe really well and apply this mixture on your hair for about 30 minutes. Then rinse and wash your hair.

Coffee Hair Mask

Coffee is excellent for penetrating the hair follicles and stimulating them. The caffeine in coffee may help slow down hair loss while speeding up hair growth due to follicle stimulation. This is why coffee scrub is so amazing for hair growth.

Organic ground coffee is a great way to exfoliate your scalp, and at the same time stimulate hair growth. The exfoliate properties help to remove dead skin cells, dirt, dandruff, and product build-up which can clog your scalp pores.

For this hair mask you will need:

Take equal parts of organic ground coffee, and organic coconut oil. About one tablespoon of each. If you don’t have coconut oil you can also use olive oil. Mix both ingredients and apply it to your head for about 30 minutes.

Banana Hair Mask

Bananas are a great source of potassium and it’s a great for strengthening and thickening hair. Bananas can help nourish the scalp and hair follicles, maintain natural hair elasticity, and prevent breakage and split ends. The agave can act as a natural humectant that will add moisture and shine to your hair.

For this hair mask you will need:

Gather all your natural ingredients. You need about half ripe banana, and about one teaspoon of organic agave and one teaspoon of sweet almond oil. Mash the banana along with the other two natural ingredients until smooth. Apply the mixture to your hair and leave for about 30 minutes.
