cruelty-free / vegan beauty and fashion

Another month has passed by, and another favorites video!

Most of my favorites includes lifestyle items. Like snacks, or home related. But this time it was just beauty and fashion.

Vegan beauty and fashion that is. Makeup brands that don’t test on animals, and clothing animals without any fabrics derived from animals.

I don’t log in to my Facebook as often because I’m constantly reminded of the animal cruelty that seems like it’s never endless. A high school teacher drowning raccoons in front of his class as an “experiment”, alive pigs in trucks on their way to slaughter, and so much more.

To me it serves a constant reminder as to why I live the way I do, and why I make these conscious purchases.

I want to share that it’s easy to live this way, and it feels so rewarding at the end of the day.

Let’s talk about my vegan beauty and fashion favorites…..

For makeup I have been really liking my Pacifica eyeshadow palette. Mine is called Pink Nudes but they have other options with different color shades. It’s the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette with natural tones.

Along with that I have been using my E.l.f. HD Concealer. It conceals my imperfections perfectly without too much product application. It feels lightweight and hides my imperfections for hours.

For my nails I like to make them look nice without spending too much time on them. The perfect solution for me are the imPRESS Nails. Not only they are super affordable, but they look like salon quality. I put them on in less than five minutes, and to me they last more than two weeks. Can’t get better than that!

For my hair I have been loving the WOW shampoo & conditioner combo. Of course it’s vegan and cruelty-free. The shampoo has apple cider vinegar to remove build-up residue, and the conditioner has coconut oil, and avocado oil. So good for the hair! They both smell lovely, and I like using it on my hair.

As far as fashion, these are some of the things I have been loving….

From ASOS the first thing I got were the faux leather leggings. They are shiny looking, and they have an elastic slim waist. They are high-ris waist, and super comfy to wear.

The other thing I got from ASOS was the faux leather belts. It was interesting to read they were made with water based PU. It means it was made with water-based polyurethane which basically means it’s animal-free and less chemicals are used to make it. It’s the next generation to faux leather. So cool right?

I also got a few pieces from Forever 21. The first one is my gray swing dress. I have been loving it. It’s so comfy with a soft material. I usually wear it with booties.

The other item from Forever 21 are my faux suede booties. For a long time I was looking for something like these. Most of the options at Macy’s are made with leather. These were perfect. Not only they look cute, but I have worn them for hours with no discomfort.

These were my favorites for March and April. What were your favorites? Share it with me in the comment section. Until next time!
