7 Kitchen Tools Every Vegan Needs

We only feature products that we hope you will love. We may earn a commission if you purchase through our links at no extra cost to you.

To make delicious plant-based foods we all need some essential tools in our kitchen. In this post, I will be sharing with you tools that I have in my own kitchen or that I have gifted. When you have the essential tools it’s much easier to follow recipe ideas and feel more inspired. You don’t definitely need all these but they can come in handy or they also make great gift ideas for that food lover you know.

This post is all about essential kitchen tools for vegans.

7 Kitchen Tools Every Vegan Needs

1. Breville Compact Juicer

The Breville Compact Juicer is what I use to get fresh, natural juice from fruits and veggies from the comfort of my home. I like the compact size so it can fit well even in the smallest kitchen. The only downside to me is the cleaning part when it’s time to take apart all the pieces but that’s just me probably being lazy hehe.

2. Cuisinart Food Processor

The Cuisinart Food Processor is what I use to make the perfect, delicious guacamole or make raw desserts. With this, you can chop, shred, slice, and puree your fruits, and veggies. You can check out my “Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe” where you can see me using this exact same food processor.

3. EZ Tofu Press

The EZ Tofu Press is a handy tool to press your tofu to remove all the water to get it ready for cooking. Doing this it provides better flavor absorption and texture to make the tofu better tasting. My mom loves cooking so I actually gifted her this tofu presser a while ago and she likes it.

4. Hamilton Beach Rice Cooker

I enjoy using my Hamilton Beach Rice Cooker to cook rice. What I like about this size is that I can cook for days ahead and it’s perfect for meal prep. At the same time, it comes with a handy steam basket to cook veggies while the rice is getting ready, so you cook two things at once. Got to love it!

5. Juiceman Citrus Juicer

This is the Juiceman citrus juicer that I like to use to get fresh orange juice. If I have limes and lemons I like adding that too. Juiceman had a previous model, but this is the latest one that is available. I also gifted one to my mom and it makes it so easy for her to make natural, fresh juice.

6. Veggie Spiralizer

I use a Veggie spiralizer to make zucchini noodles which is a healthy alternative to regular pasta. Not only can you make spaghetti from vegetables, but you can also do fine shredding, coarse shredding, curly fries, and flat blade. It’s multi-use and so beneficial to make different dishes.

You can see one of my meals using this veggie spiralizer here:

7. Vitamix TurboBlend VS Blender

The Vitamix professional blender is one that I’ve had for so many years because it’s that good. With this blender, you can make smoothies, soup recipes, raw desserts and so much more. It’s a high-speed blender with variable speed controls so you’re in complete control. Just a warning, it can get pretty loud. This Viamix blender is available in Black, Red, and White. If I were to buy it again I would get a White one to match my White kitchen, oh well.

Thank you for all these suggestions. I have a food processor I use all the time. And I’ve been thinking about getting a spiralizer; just not sure if I would use it often enough.

I have almost all of these in my kitchen! I got rid of my rice cooker since I bought an Instant Pot. I use my Vitamix everyday!

Loving all the gadgets here as I am a gadget girl. I always wanted a Spiralizer but never got one so that is one my list, also never seen a tofu press before

I have a small food processor that I use all the time to chop up veggies or to make sauces. For me, a chef’s knife is an essential kitchen tool as well.

These are all good kitchen gadgets to have whether you are vegan or not. I would love to have a new juicing machine. That Breville one looks really nice. It is a good brand and I know it will do its job well.
