These are modern decor ideas from Amazon. These are items that I found when I had a specific idea of how I wanted to decorate my empty home walls. I knew exactly the decor pieces that I wanted. I was looking for a motivational quote with a nice frame, I wanted geometric shapes and round mirrors in different sizes.
On my hunt for these ideas, I found the perfect decor products on Amazon. Down below I have various photos to show you how I used these decor items in various places in my home.
I think they are unique and simple. I also wanted a decor piece for our family memories so I was also looking for a nice, and modern photo display.
Note: All of these modern decor ideas are under $20, with the exception of the Umbra geometric shapes that goes for about $30 on Amazon.

Modern Decor Ideas from Amazon

1. Modern Decor Ideas – Metallic Quote
I knew I wanted an inspirational quote on my bedroom wall that I could see daily. On my Amazon search, I found this nice and simple “I can and I will” metallic motivational message. This is such a great reminder to keep going for your goals and don’t give up. This is a good quality metallic quote on thick cardstock.
You can hang it in your living room, dining room, office, or bedroom.
2. Modern Decor Ideas – Metal Portrait Frame
Along with my inspirational quote I needed a nice frame to go with it. Because it is Gold tone I went with a gold color metal portrait frame (similar). I measured the quote and I made sure that the frame would fit an 8×10 picture.
3. Modern Decor Ideas – Umbra Geometric Shapes
I really like my photo display, but I also LOVE these geometric shapes for decor. This particular set comes in a set of 6. I love them so much because you can choose how to display them in two ways. One way is to use half the shape to place on your wall. The other is to use both shapes that look the same to form a 3D shape, and you can hang it from your ceiling. I chose the wall, they look GREAT.

4. Modern Decor Ideas – Round-Assorted Mirrors
I knew I wanted round mirrors that came in different sizes. This set I found was perfect because it includes seven mirrors in assorted sizes. I placed three of them on my bedroom wall and four on my hallway wall. You can see how they look in the photos above.
But I went an extra step, I knew I wanted round gold borders on them. So what I did was measure each mirror, and cut smaller size paper circles to leave the border empty. With spray paint in Gold tone, I painted them. You can see how they turned out in the photos above.
5. Modern Decor Ideas – Metallic Bathroom Sign
This is a metallic bathroom sign, so unique and different from regular bathroom signs. This is so cute to have in your home or office space. This set comes with both the woman and man figures.

6. Modern Decor Ideas – Umbra Photo Display
I love the Umbra photo display for so many reasons. I like that it’s a modern way to display photos. I like that you get to choose whether you will mount it vertically or horizontally, I went for vertical. It comes in a variety of colors to match your decor, I went for White to make my space look brighter. It brings the clothespins and a set of prints in case you don’t have your own photos to hang.
